♥ I Love to See the Temple! ♥

I love to see the temple.
I'm going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit, To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.
I'll prepare myself while I am young.
This is my sacred duty.

I love to see the temple.
I'll go inside someday.
I'll cov'nant with my Father; I'll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place
Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I've learned this truth:
A family is forever.

I loved singing this song when I was a child in Primary and now being able to go inside the House of Lord this song is even more special to me. I tear up everytime I hear it. I'm so grateful for temples: for being worthy to go inside, to be able to find answers while I'm there, for all the work being done inside and especially for the love and closeness to the Lord that I feel while I'm in the temple. It's such a great feeling to know that my family can be together forever...throughout eternity as long as I obey and keep the covenants that I've made with my Heavenly Father.

Westminister Pumpkin Patch

During my sister Shenna's visit we decided to take the kids to a pumpkin patch. After looking online at a few locations we decided on the Westminister Pumpkin Patch. The kids really had a great time sliding down the huge bouncer slides, riding a pony, driving a mini John Deere truck, getting on rides, face painting and picking pumpkins. We totally had a wonderful evening!

Back in Action!

I can't believe how long it has been since my last blog...over a year. Yikes! I'm back in action again.

Easter 2009

We started off our Easter Sunday at church, which was great as usual. This is Hadyn's Easter outfit from Aunty Seli. His cousins Sariah and Madysen wore matching dresses that coordinated with his outfit.

After church we had dinner at Mom's house. We had pork chops, fish, lamb stir fry and more. Dinner could not be over soon enough for the kids...they were ready for the Easter egg hunt. We had a really good day being spiritual and physically fed as well as enjoying the company of family. The kids had a blast hunting for eggs and I'm sure the dentist will be super happy!!
